Halloween Pre-game

So for Halloween this year we went with a Star Wars theme.  Darin is Master Plo Koon, Bridger is Commander Rex, and Wyatt is a black strormtrooper.  You would have to be a mother to all boys to know all of these crazy names!!

Mustard is NOT for brothers!!!!

Yes, you read the post right.  Mustard is NOT for brothers-want to know how I know this?  Let me just tell you, Darin and I have been going to bed at 8:00 so we don't look like zombies after being up and feeding Grifin. So, we tucked Wyatt in bed and he was sound asleep by about 8:10, we then retired which left only Bridger up alone in a quiet house.  He didn't seem to think that this was very good, so he decided to wake up his brother and see if he would sleep in his room with him, only Wyatt wouldn't wake up, so Bridger decided to squirt mustard all over him and wake him up.  Darin and I then heard lots of noise and D went to investigate, needless to say he was not THRILLED at what he found!!  I can smile about this today, and hopefully laugh about it soon, I am blogging about it so that I won't forget about it and can use it as excellent blackmail someday!

Way to go Bridger!

Apparently we were wrong when we thought Bridger's football team wouldn't go very far.  They have one more game and then they go to the mini-bowl if they win.  We were kind of hoping for a shorter season because football practice is every day for a few hours and the games are two hours and they have to be there an hour and a half early so Saturdays are crazy as well.  We are proud of the kids and how well they have done.  We are especially proud of Bridger for practicing and supporting his team.  Way to Go!

WE LOVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!

We have been fortunate to have been on the receiving end as of late and I wanted to take some time to thank everyone for their generosity and thoughtfulness.  We have had LOTS of meals brought to us.  We have enjoyed Cafe Rio and homemade cheesecake (YUMMY) pizza and pork chops too.  Meals that have taken countless hours of sacrifice and love to make and bring.  We have had lots of visitors too, I was fortunate to see one of my favorite people from my mission after 12 years and LOVED the visit.  We have had car seat covers, blocks, outfits, blankets, burp cloths, baby food, wet wipes, diapers, Binky clips and so many other great gifts, it has felt like Christmas around here.  All of this leaves us feeling so lucky to be so blessed by so many.  Like I told my sister-in-law after sampling their YUMMY all-out dinner that they brought, it makes us want to do it all over again---WELL ALMOST!!!
